Alli began her career as a Bachelors-Prepared RN at the University of Illinois. She cared for patients in various capacities in Illinois, New York, and Texas contributing in the following nursing specialties: Informatics, Cardiac, ER and Elderly Care. Alli's first love is and has always been all things technical, so her next focus was entirely on Medical and Nursing documentation and EMR as a Clinical Implementation Specialist at NextGen Inpatient Solutions. She enjoyed it so much that she switched careers to become a Web & Software Developer. Alli built sites for small businesses as Friendly Fulcrum for two years and learned a lot about the overlap between education and access to technical fields. As a result, she founded and ran the Lvl\U/p Intro to Full Stack Workshop series & Camps for High Schoolers for several years, and just finished a year as Adjunct Faculty teaching Coding & Development and Technology classes at Griffin School, Austin for 2017-2018.
When Alli is not trying out new combinations of frameworks that she has devised for herself or organizing a silverware drawer, you can find her running, consuming film, or written SciFi. You can also find her researching travel destinations, being politically active, or hanging out doing various ATX things with friends and family.
